Admissions Policy

Children under the age of eight must be accompanied by a parent or an adult aged 16 or over.

Age
4 and under	1 child per adult (max.)
5 - 8 years	2 children per adult (max.)
Over 8 years	No adult supervision required. But must be a competent swimmer.

Registered Free Swimming

Saxon Pool and Leisure Centre is taking part in the Government's free swimming programme for those aged 16 and under and 60 and over, for further details please click here.

Band Entry System

During peak periods a band entry system will be used at Saxon Pool an Leisure Centre. All swimmers will get a minimum of 1 hour in the swimming pool, but they may be called out following this time, if demand for swimming is high.

Disabled Access

If you have a disability, we have superb accessibility for you.

• Specially equipped changing areas
• Designated Toilets

If you require extra help please ask a member of staff who will be happy to help you during your visit.

Family changing areas

We provide Huggies™ approved family friendly changing facilities. We have a unisex changing village with individual cubicles and larger cubicles with a baby's changing tables for young families. We also provide a quiet, private feeding room for nursing mums and their babies.

Swim in Retirement

If you're aged 50 or over why not come along to Swim in Retirement, it's on every Tuesday and Thursday morning between 11.00 and 12.00. A section of the pool is cordoned off especially for you. It's a relaxed and friendly environment with many great and long lasting friendships made.

Aqua Fun

You and your children can enjoy fun sessions in the pool every weekend, with either a giant inflatable or a flume available, you'll have a splashing time! aquafun runs on weekdays during school holidays, subject to availability.

Ladies Only

Ladies only swimming is every Wednesday at 19.30, it's a great time to catch up with friends in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Relax and Swim

Gentle underwater lighting and relaxing music make these evening sessions a perfect way to unwind after a hard day.

Adult Lessons

Whether you are a beginner or want to brush up on technique we are able to help. We hold group beginners, improvers and advanced lessons. Private lessons can also be arranged by contacting reception.

Creche

While you are swimming at Saxon Pool & Leisure Centre you can leave your children in our safe and caring creche. Experienced and qualified staff provide quality care and fun activities for babies and children up to their 8th birthday. Ofsted registered.
