Letchworth Arcadians are delighted to be presenting one of Franz Lehár’s best loved operettas ‘The Merry Widow’, directed by Peter Davies and under the musical direction of Graham Albone.

If Anna Glavari marries a foreigner then her fortune, inherited from her late husband, will be lost to the fatherland.  A plot is afoot to make sure this will not happen.  Does it succeed?  Come along and find out and enjoy some of Lehár’s best melodies, including ‘Vilia’ and ‘The Merry Widow Waltz’.
